Bride

It was a beautiful Wednesday evening on May 15,2013. I knew Jesse would be working late which gave me what I thought was ample time to prepare and panic. I had gone to the store picked up her favorite items for dinner and I even  managed to stop by the pet store to get a tux for frank ( our minpin beagle mix) and a dress for Lady (our pug). I bought a beautiful bouquet of flowers and rose peddles to dress up the house. I was scrambling around to put the final touches on everything when I received a phone call that Jess was on her way home. With anxiety brewing I saw the headlights in the driveway and met Jess outside with a dishtowel to wrap around her head. She was very suspicious, but later learned she thought I was very proud of the dinner I was supposed to be fixing. I lead her into the house where I put on our song ( a thousand years by Christina Perry) I think she knew at this point that dinner was merely a cover. I got down on my knee and asked the love of my life to be mine forever.
